One thing that is as yet not confirmed is if the Samsung GT-i9300 is the Galaxy S III or not, but regardless of this details from the service manual of the upcoming GT-i9300 has surfaced and it looks like itll be a top of the range device from Samsung. One thing in the GT-i9300s favour that it would be the Galaxy S III is that its listed as sporting a 1.5GHz quad core CPU, although thats 100MHz faster than the just announced Samsung Exynos 4 Quad.
The GT-i9300 also sports a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, but its not clear if this is a plus model or not, so it might still be a pen-tile screen. Other features mentioned in the service manual includes an 8Megapixel camera with auto focus and an LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, A-GSP, USB 2.0 OTG, 21Mbps HSDPA+ and 5.76Mbps HSUPA. The GT-i9300 can also record and play back 1080p video, although this is fairly common for higher-end phones these days.
There are still plenty of features missing and some doesnt appear to line up with previous rumours, such as the camera which isnt exactly what wed call an upgrade over the Galaxy S II. The fact that the drawing of the handset also includes buttons have us wondering of this really is the Galaxy S III, or an entirely different model, but the GT-i9300 has been suggested as the model that will appear as the Galaxy S III time and time again in the rumour mill. It should all become a lot clearer in about a weeks time, but until then well just have to take this as yet another rumour.
